we spend the first year of a child's life teaching them to walk and talk, and the rest of their life telling them to shut up and sit down
that's so true. and when they do speak up. They're often dismissed or silenced. we need to do better at actually listening to young people.

fr, why do we keep ignoring them? they have so much to offer if we'd just listen up instead of always brushing them off.
