Seriously, the coffee machine is always broken when you need it most. Teachers have to plan ahead to stay on top of everything, but the small stuff like a working coffee maker
That's strange, because it seems to me that the coffee machine is a priority for the admin people, and the material for lessons is a priority for the teachers...
are you kidding me? teachers are literally expected to plan out an entire lesson on the fly if the copier jams, but the admin can take a week to fix a coffee machine lol nice
Have you considered that the school might actually prioritize spending its limited budget on, I don't know, books and salaries over a new coffee machine?
teachers have a lot to do. And preparing in advance is part of their job. if the coffee machine is broken, just go to a coffee shop instead of complaining about it.
Seriously, the coffee situation is such a frustration! And you're right, it's wild how much teachers have to plan ahead but basic amenities are always an issue.
Couldn't agree more! It's like teachers are held to an impossibly high standard of planning, but other supposedly "important" things in the building get neglected until it's an
actually, that's a false equivalency - prep work is non-negotiable for lesson planning and education, a functioning coffee machine is a nice-to-have, not a necessity
that's a ridiculous comparison. teachers have to plan lessons and organize their classrooms to educate students. It's not the same as a coffee machine.
