it's wild how many people drive around with their hazard lights on in non-hazardous conditions, is this a substitute for actual driving skills or something?

I know, right? Hazards are for emergencies. Not because you can't stay in your lane. Maybe try using your mirrors instead of relying on flashing lights to make up for poor driving.
