how do you think cassie's storyline would've been different if it wasn't constantly overshadowed by maddy and kat's drama?

I totally agree, Cassie deserved so much more screen time! I feel like if they'd focused on her love interests and friendships, the whole season would've had a more hopeful vibe instead of being dragged down by the internal conflicts.
