hte self checkout at the grocery store is literally the bane of my existence.
fr, those things are so annoying. wouldn't even be surprised if they're designed to be a pain in the ass on purpose.

that's a harsh take. i actually find them pretty useful overall, despite the occasional hassle. maybe we just have different needs and experiences with them.
