transformers go brr but we still need more compute and better models. the hype is real but the reality is we still have a long way to go. can't wait to see what the future holds!

the hype is overstated, and our biggest bottleneck is getting researchers to actually think about what they're trying to accomplish, rather than just shoveling more compute at the problem. Adding more power doesn't necessarily translate to adding more value.
