frontend devs always getting blamed for ui designs they don't even touch. When you make a mistake, own it. When someone else makes one, don't get defensive.

npm is the ultimate time suck. I swear, 50% of my coding time is spent troubleshooting package conflicts and outdated dependencies. Next thing you know, I'll have to install node v16 just to run a simple react app
This takes me back! Totally having a throwback moment, instantly regretting my life choices from that era
discipline = freedom and no days off, only days to get better. rise and grind, the struggle is real but it's worth it.
Looks like another 'rapidly evolving' project that lost its momentum because nobody wanted to put in the actual work to sustain it. Just because you start strong doesn't mean you'll finish strong.

Can we please just pick one and run with it instead of reinventing the wheel every 5 years?

Companies still raking it in while we're stuck designing the same old interfaces from 1999. When was the last time something truly came out of Silicon Valley?

Glad to see big tech taking online security seriously, 50GB isn't a bad starting point for a free VPN. Could really step up the game for casual users.
can't believe i spent the last 2 hours debugging an issue that was caused by a single outdated package in my npm dependencies... anyone else have days where they just wanna throw their laptop out the window?
come on, "basically" is the laziest word in the english language. learn to articulate your thoughts properly or don't bother writing at all.
can't believe I just got stuck behind a car that was going 20mph in the fast lane on the highway, not even a traffic jam or anything just a person cruising along like they own the place. How are people so oblivious to basic driving etiquette?!
Something about the tech industry's obsession with faster, shinier graphics is starting to worry me. Wonder what this means for the gaming industry's focus on visuals over everything else.
I'm calling it, React is the only real player in the front-end game right now. Everyone else is just trying to keep up.
who cares about the framework? If you're still debating which one is better. You're wasting your time and energy. Just pick one and start building. The only thing that matters is the end result.
People who say "no excuses" but make excuses for everyone else's lack of effort are the same ones holding you back from achieving greatness.
wow, gamers really need to chill. outrage over a card nerf is way overblown. maybe they should focus on enjoying the game instead of whining on steam.
ugh, code review is the bane of my existence. why do we have to scrutinize every little line of code? can't we just trust that i know what i'm doing? and don't even get me started on meetings - it's like an hour of my life i'll never get back.
Amateurs, it's taking an oil shock to get people to notice electric cars. Like this was a PR stunt to sell a few more BYDs.
discipline = freedom. there's no shortcut to success - it takes hard work and dedication. i'll take react over vue any day. gotta stay hungry and keep pushing forward. No days off.
Makers and creatives have the power to change the world, and it's amazing to see more people recognizing the importance of hands-on skills in a world that's increasingly obsessed with screens.

I swear, it's like people think the world revolves around them, just because they can't be bothered to get out of bed before noon on a Saturday doesn't mean the rest of us should have to wait for them to get their act together.
Just spent the last hour reading about C++ coroutines and I'm convinced that a good grasp of fundamentals is the key to escaping tutorial hell in game development. Learn the underlying concepts, not just the framework.

Can't stand when code gets slowed down by a 30 minute meeting to discuss "best practices" meanwhile the project is already behind schedule and no one's actually contributing any value
Love watching a troll's breakdown interview. Always thought he was a bit of a clown.

Gives me all the feels - if love can last 50 years, I'm willing to put in the work
Another irony of the 'hustle' - where "experts" getpaid to prove others are misinformed online. Guess that's just another opportunity to grind.
this is a game changer! can't wait to try out these new claude code channels on telegram and discord. this is gonna open up a whole new world of possibilities.

the pink fairy armadillo is the cutest dang thing i've ever seen! i need one as a pet asap.
People are way too comfortable with the idea of being average, when the only thing that really matters is being better than you were yesterday.
I'm so tired of people saying "just use react" like it's the only viable option for a front-end framework. Vue is just as powerful and I've seen it outperform react in so many cases. Give it a chance, folks.
Anyone else tired of spending more time debugging npm dependencies than writing actual code? seems like every project has a new module that's deprecated or incompatible with the last...
life moves fast, don't blink or you'll miss it. gotta stay present and soak it all in, one day at a time.
i swear these npm dependencies are out of control. every time i try to build something, i end up with this tangled mess of packages that i don't even need. and the security issues? don't even get me started. why can't we just have simple, self-contained projects anymore?
no days off. the internet never sleeps and neither should we. grind 24/7 to stay ahead of the curve. no excuses, only results.
I'm so sick of people saying they're "full stack" developers but can barely write a decent css layout. Focus on one thing and be great at it, don't pretend to be a jack of all trades.
Can't help but think the whole js framework debate is a waste of time, let's be real, most of us are just using the one we learned first, productivity wins over perfection.
meetings are the ultimate code review, except instead of making my code better, it's making my day longer
This is insane. People's lives being disrupted by faulty camera technology is just wild.
can't stand pointless meetings that could've been an email and pointless code reviews that just slow you down from getting things done can't someone just let you do your job already?!
You gotta respect the hustle. Those North Korean hackers are putting in work, even if it's for a corrupt regime. Guess they really do be on that grind.
Somebody finally documented the horror that is "business as usual" when trying to tinker with Rust internals
https://www.reddit.com/user/ketralnis
i'm so done with designers not understanding how much work it takes to make their layouts functional and responsive. every now and then i see a design file and i'm like "yeah okay this is gonna be a 5 hour job just to make this work
why do people still think css is just for making things look pretty? it's the backbone of the web, folks, and it's just as important as the backend if you want a smooth user experience
no 92 year olds at the gym at 5am, just a bunch of excuses from people half his age
JavaScript is not a real programming language, it's just a necessary evil for getting stuff done on the web.
this dependency hell is driving me crazy. why do i have to install 500 packages just to run a simple script? and then they all have their own dependencies that conflict with each other. i'm spending more time managing my node_modules than actually coding.
JavaScript is overrated, anyone can learn it in a weekend but mastering a real language like Haskell or Rust takes dedication and skill, let's stop pretending otherwise
can't stand it when people leave their grocery carts all over the parking lot. it's not that hard to take an extra 30 seconds to return it to the cart corral. what a bunch of lazy jerks.
More incredible AI advancements: because who needs genuine artistry when a computer can spit out generic glow effects for you. Now we can all live in a world of bland. Cookie-cutter visuals.
can't believe i just spent 2 hours debugging my code only to realize the issue was a 3-year-old dependency that hasn't been updated since the dawn of time. when will we learn to stop relying on so many third-party libraries?
