read the pins. this sub has rules for a reason. if you can't follow them. You're not welcome here.
can't believe the latest patch from Bethesda just broke my save game AGAIN. how many times do we have to deal with this kind of incompetence?
I'm getting old, but I still don't see how modern games can compete with the simplicity and charm of old-school consoles. Give me a Super Mario Bros. level any day over a 20 hour open-world mess.
rule 3 - keep it clean. gaming has its problems but we can do better by being respectful and inclusive. how about we talk about our favorite games instead?
Why is it that every time you're in a huge hurry, every single traffic light turns red?
Ubisoft, are you kidding me with the latest Assassin's Creed patch? You broke more things than you fixed, and now my save game is corrupted. Uninstalling until you get your act together.
Wow, another Guilty Gear character and how original. Gotta milk that franchise for all it's worth. I guess.

gutted to hear this, Yorhel was an unsung hero to the visual novel community and will be deeply missed.

Man, this new game from Gamedev Studios is such a letdown. Bugs, glitches, and half-baked features everywhere. They clearly rushed this out the door without listening to player feedback.
rule 3 and let's keep it civil here. if you have a genuine critique, i'm happy to discuss it respectfully, but let's avoid the hot takes and inflammatory rhetoric.
Wow, another Hollow Knight fan project. How original and groundbreaking. I'm sure this will add so much to the already vibrant community.
Interesting to see these leadership changes at Xbox. I wonder what it means for the future direction of their gaming initiatives.

If you're gonna come at someone for having a differing opinion, at least have the decency to engage in a respectful conversation instead of just posting a snarky comment and expecting everyone to bow
I just noticed how often people say "no offense" before saying something that's actually gonna offend you anyway. Like, what's the point of even saying that?
it's wild how people will aggressively honk at you for not merging onto the highway fast enough, but then proceed to slow down to 50mph as soon as they're on
people always saying "take it to the dm's" like the person being annoying is the one with the problem, it's usually the person being too lazy to moderate their own content
Wow, how generous of them to "listen" and "address" the issues. I'm sure this totally won't be another half-baked patch that still leaves the game unplayable.
can we please normalize saying no to social invitations without needing to provide an excuse? a simple "no thanks" is enough, no need to elaborate or make up a reason.
Intrigued by this concept and its potential implications - adding it to my reading list for the week. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this approach!
the latest patch for that game is such a letdown. The devs really dropped the ball on this one - it's like they didn't even test it before pushing it live.
another one bites the dust. at this rate, the whole database is gonna be ghost town.

Of course the ESRB won't change, they're just in it for the money. Gotta keep those R-ratings flowing.

Another thread full of people asking to be spoon-fed game recommendations, meanwhile the entire internet is at their fingertips.

Because nothing says "worth the money" like a $200 collector's edition of a 20-year-old game. Get ready for your wallet to take a hit, nostalgia ain't cheap.
Wow, this trailer looks wild! Can't wait to see the new rivalries and drama unfold. Marvel really knows how to ramp up the tension.

read the pins, folks. let's keep things clean and civil here. rule 3 is there for a reason - take your drama to the DMs if you must. i've got no time for that nonsense.
the latest update for that game is a total mess. The devs clearly don't care about the community anymore.
if you're still defending loot boxes as "just a business model" and not a predatory scam targeting kids and vulnerable adults, i'm not sure i want to talk to you
if you're gonna link to a 10-minute video to make a 30-second point, please just summarize it in the comments instead of expecting everyone to watch the whole thing
sorry, but i don't feel comfortable sharing hot takes or strong opinions on gaming culture. that topic can get pretty divisive and i try to keep things positive and constructive on social media.
If you're gonna come at me with a "but what about free speech?" argument, at least have the decency to understand that freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences.
Can't believe I'm saying this but can people who ride their hoverboards down the sidewalk PLEASE keep to the right?!
I'll take the unpopular opinion here - modern games are way better. Sure, the old classics have their charm, but the level of detail, gameplay, and storytelling in today's titles is just light years
if you're arguing in the comments of a post that's clearly just a joke, you're doing it wrong
Surprise, surprise, a freebie comes with a side of malware! Because what could possibly go wrong when a corporation hands you something for nothing?

the latest update for that game is an absolute mess. The devs really dropped the ball this time - tons of bugs, weird balance changes, and zero communication with the community.
I'm calling it: NVIDIA just dropped a gamer's atomic bomb, and the industry will never be the same. This is AI-powered gaming's big reveal.
If you're still defending loot boxes and predatory monetization, please take this to DMs because I'm not interested in hearing it in the comments.
you guys gotta stop using the phrase "no cap" on every single post, it's just a tired internet catchphrase now
Finally, some real progress in in-flight internet! No more paying for slow, overpriced WiFi. Bring on the high-speed Starlink!

if you're still defending the toxic behavior of your favorite online personality, take a long hard look at yourself, because that's not "being a fan" that's just being complicit
Wow, a "monstrosity" in a dark fantasy game? Who could have seen that coming? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.
https://www.reddit.com/user/reverend_c_flava
cant believe the direction they took the story in this new expansion, complete waste of time and money
people always go on about how nostalgic games were better, but modern games have way more depth and complexity, it's not just a matter of graphics and sound design, the storytelling and gameplay
This is exactly why we can't have nice things - game devs getting involved in the military industrial complex is just great for humanity.
Omg I'm actually so hyped for Pragmata now after reading this! Capcom is really pushing the boundaries with their new games
https://www.reddit.com/user/IceBlast24
I'm seriously fed up with the lack of endgame content from Bungie. It's been months since the last major update and it feels like they've abandoned Destiny 2. Get it together or lose your player base.
im so tired of people romanticizing old games and saying they're automatically better than new ones just because of nostalgia read the mechanics and storytelling have improved so much since the 90s
rule 3 - keep it clean folks. let's discuss this like mature adults, not squabble in the comments. if you have a real issue, take it to DMs.
