just spent the last hour debugging a project and it turns out the issue was a silly version mismatch between two dependencies...

i'm so over java, it's like hte old flip phone of programming languages - clunky, outdated, and only still around because some people just can't let go
wow, who could have seen this coming? guess "funding secured" wasn't as secure as elon thought.
javascript is the best programming language. it's so versatile and has so many cool libraries and frameworks. plus, it's the language of the web, so it's super useful.
i'm not a big fan of the popular js frameworks. they feel like overkill for a lot of projects and just add unnecessary complexity.
why do i have to install 50 dependencies just to run a simple hello world app these days? npm is such a mess, i just want to write code without all the bloat.
i'm so over react being the default choice for every web dev project... can we please give vue or svelte a chance already? they're way more intuitive and easier to learn
i'm still a die-hard gnome fan - there's just something about the simplicity and intuitiveness of the design that makes it feel like home, even after all these years of trying out
i'm seriously considering switching away from arch linux just because of the absurdity of using a package manager that thinks it's a game of "i spy" - every time i try to install
this is a perfect example of how law enforcement abuses its power to silence critics and anyone who challenges their actions.
the big guys are secretly testing their new ai models again. can't wait to see how much more powerful and unpredictable these things will get. no wonder the world is so screwed.

i'm so done with gnome and kde. xfce has been my go-to desktop environment for years, it's just so clean and easy to use, and i love the customization options.
can we please just get rid of pointless meetings already? i swear, 99% of them could be an email or a 2 minute conversation with the relevant person.
if you're still using a simple 2fa app, you're basically shouting "hack me" to the world - get a serious one that warns you about clever phishing attempts like this

ugh, just had a code review where the reviewer spent 20 minutes explaining why they wouldn't change their code even though it was just a minor tweak.
i'm so over gnome, it's just getting bloated and slow. kde all the way, the customizability is where it's at.
i swear, trying to update a single dependency in npm is like playing a game of jenga with my entire project, will it all come crashing down or will i somehow magically avoid
can we just stop with the pointless meetings and code reviews where everyone just finds fault in everything and nothing gets done?
been waiting for something like this to come along - super excited to dive in and see where this creative takes me

can't believe amazons huge fine was overturned. the privacy watchdog clearly messed up here. this just shows how big tech can abuse their power and get away with it.

vue is the best frontend framework. it's simple, intuitive, and has a great community. react is good too. But can get overly complex. angular is trash, stay far away.
react is alright but vue is where it's at. simple to use, super flexible, and the community is great. i'll take it over react or whatever other js framework any day.
javascript is a messy language with too many warts and quirks, but it's the lingua franca of the web so we're all stuck with it.
i've been using react for years and still think it's the most solid choice for building complex web apps - vue and angular just can't compete with its massive community and .
ugh, can we please just have one version of jquery that works for everyone and not have to deal with 12 different dependencies and 50 conflicting versions??
i've been trying to install a simple package for days now with apt on ubuntu, and it just wont work. the dependencies keep getting in a loop and i'm so over it.
i'm so done with gnome and kde, their reliance on proprietary tech and lack of customizability is really holding me back.
systemd is such a mess. way too complex and bloated for what it's supposed to do. just give me a simple init system that gets the job done without all the extra baggage.
ugh, code reviews are the worst. why do we have to sit through these long, drawn-out sessions where everyone nitpicks every little thing?
javascript is the worst programming language. it's full of weird quirks and inconsistencies, and the whole prototypal inheritance thing is a mess.
this is why i never fly unless i have to. tarmac delays are the worst - time to get a new airline industry regulation or two.
css is the worst. its so inconsistent and finicky, i never know what's going to work. and why do i have to fight w/ the browser just to get a simple layout?
i'm so done with gnome, it's just so bloated and resource-intensive. i recently switched to i3 and it's been a total game changer - so lightweight and customizable.
great, because what could possibly go wrong with the us trying to strongarm other countries into investing in american tech huh?

the number of dependencies in my latest project is driving me crazy. why does everything need 50 different libraries just to do a simple thing?
can we just make dependencies easier to manage? every time i update one package. A million others break and i have to spend hours debugging instead of actually working on my
i'm so done with systemd. it's like teh linux community just decided to trade in simplicity and flexibility for a bloated, complicated mess that tries to do everything except
react is the king of the front-end world. vue is a great alternative if you want something a bit lighter. but use whatever works best for your project and team.
i've been working with react for a while now and while it's a solid choice, i'm starting to think vue might be the better option for some projects.
i'm so over people saying that javascript is hard to learn, it's not that hard, folks, it's just that most tutorials and courses are written by experts who forgot what it's like
how sweet, i'm sure that really warmed the cockles of everyone's hearts. bet it didn't do a single thing to help anyone in need.
systemd is a bloated mess. just give me a simple init system that works without all the unnecessary complexity. linux doesn't need to be windows.
i just can't understand why everyone's still obsessing over python - it's been around for decades and its design is basically a relic of the past, java and kotlin have made it
fedora just broke my favorite text editor... again. rpm's dependency issues are the actual worst.
i'm a big fan of react. it's super flexible and the community is huge, so there's tons of resources out there.
ugh, just spent 30 minutes troubleshooting a problem that was caused by a version conflict in my npm dependencies can't believe i still have to deal with this level of complexity
python is the best programming language. it's easy to learn, has tons of libraries, and is used for everything from web dev to data science.
i'm still trying to figure out why i have to manually manage dependencies in arch linux's aur, it's 2023 not 2003. can't we have a decent package manager yet?
because what the world really needed was another tramp backend, said no one ever.

i'm so over gnome, i switched to i3 and it's been a game changer - so much faster and more customizable, i don't know how i ever went back to using a resource-heavy de like gnome
