i'm more into modern games these days. the graphics and gameplay are just so much more immersive. sure, the old classics have their charm, but i find myself gravitating towards the latest releases.
I'm so tired of people saying old games were "better" just because they had nostalgia to them. I've played classic games and I've played new ones, and some of the older ones are just plain clunky and
RP TVs were the epitome of gaming luxury back then and people who never experienced it just don't understand. This was peak gaming atmosphere, don't @ me
if you're still using the phrase "git gud" unironically, you're part of the problem.
can't believe the lack of updates for this game still, 2 months without a patch and the devs are just silent, super disappointing from a studio that's been so transparent in the past
people complaining about the "casualization" of games are just mad because their high school gaming cliques are no longer the only ones welcome
the latest patch for that game really dropped the ball. The devs need to get their act together and actually listen to the community feedback instead of pushing out half-baked updates.
can't believe how badly they botched the latest update. really dropped the ball on this one - feels like they're not even trying anymore.
People need to stop pretending like esports is a legitimate sport just because it's on TV now
i get it, the old school games had a certain charm. but let's be real, the graphics and gameplay of modern games are just on another level.
Not exactly the role reversals we're used to with Giant Skull's god game cancelled less than a year into production

people complaining about social media algorithms are the same ones who are too lazy to actually put in the effort to explore their feeds and discover new content
The struggle is real, we've all been there... own it, you're still rocking it!
people saying nostalgia goggles are the only reason older games are still beloved need to stop, some games just had better storytelling and gameplay that's not improved upon today.
read the pins, this ain't the place for hot takes. take that discussion to the dms if you wanna debate.
I'm the opposite, there's something so satisfying about clicking every inch of the screen to find that one pixel you need.

Can we please normalize saying no to social invitations without having to make up a fake excuse? Just a simple "I'm not up for it this time" would save so much unnecessary drama.
People who consistently post spoilers without warnings are the worst, just let us watch our shows in peace!
Can't believe people still don't know how to use the notification settings on this app. It's literally a checkbox to turn them off.
Can we stop comparing the "good old days" of gaming to what's currently available? Most modern games offer so much more in terms of storytelling, graphics, and immersion.
seriously fed up with the lack of updates from Rockstar on Red Dead Online, it's been months since the last major patch and the game is still plagued with the same issues
About time. Great to see exclusivity contracts getting scrapped.

About time. Joy of joys, Epic's "close relationship" with devs has ended.
People who say they're "not a morning person" are usually just not disciplined enough to get their act together
can we keep the random observations off here? This isn't the place for that. Let's stick to the rules and keep the feed focused. If you want to share random stuff, take it to the DMs.
Ah yes, the good old days of game developers doing whatever they wanted. Why have meaningful gameplay when you can just make it frustrating and call it "challenging"?

if you're still defending loot boxes and pay-to-win schemes, you're part of the problem.
still scratching my head on how a game like LA Noire hasn't gotten more mainstream love over the years
i'm so over people romanticizing old games just because they're old, if a game is still good today it's because of its mechanics, not its release date
Can we please keep the off-topic chat out of the comments section? This thread is for discussing the new movie, not your personal opinions on the weather.
If you're still defending loot boxes and microtransactions, please take this to DMs because I'm not interested in hearing your apologetic nonsense in the main thread.
still trying to unsee this
Ubisoft really needs to get their act together, constant server issues and glitches in their latest release are unacceptable. Can't believe I prepaid for the deluxe edition and it's still unplayable.
read the pins, it's all in there and no need to reopen old debates. let's keep things civil and on-topic, yeah?
people who say older games were better just have nostalgia goggles on - there are so many amazing modern games that push the boundaries of storytelling, graphics, and gameplay, don't @ me
This clickbait headline sounds like a waste of time. I'll pass.

People who take 20 minutes to order coffee are the same ones who get annoyed when the barista gets their order wrong, just saying.
please take this discussion to the DMs. i don't feel comfortable sharing my personal opinions on controversial topics publicly. let's keep things civil and productive.
why do people always walk down the middle of the sidewalk instead of to the side, making it impossible to pass each other without awkwardly squeezing by?
People who say they're "not morning people" always seem to be the ones with the most energy and get the most done before 9am, while I'm over here mainlining coffee just to get out the door
Ugh, the latest patch for that game is such a letdown. The devs really dropped the ball this time - it's like they don't even play their own game.
if you're over 25 and still using 'noob' as an insult, take a seat and reevaluate your life choices
Can we please keep the drama and personal feuds out of the comments section? This is supposed to be a community for sharing ideas, not airing your dirty laundry.
can we please stop making memes about actual mental health issues just because they're relatable, it's not funny and it's not okay
Wow, this is really interesting! I've been wondering what's next for Marathon. So i'm excited to see what they've got planned.

Man, the new update for that game really dropped the ball. They've been making one bad decision after another and it's just getting frustrating to play. I'm about ready to give up on it at this point.
Honest opinion: modern games are lacking the charm and depth of old classics. The emphasis on graphics over gameplay is getting out of hand.
people saying that speedrunning isn't real gaming are just mad because they can't even beat a game once
I'd totally shell out the cash for a chance to win half a mil, but making people pay to participate is a definite turn-off. Anyone else thinking of taking the plunge?
