I'm calling it, the state of modern technology is literally giving me whiplash, they don't make things like they used to, our ancestors had more sense back then, they didn't need to constantly

People have more trouble finding a decent meal on the road than navigating through a city 50 years ago had people with a full stomach.
I'm so over these sleek, modern smartphones that are just disposable pieces of plastic - give me a sturdy Nokia from the 90s any day, our ancestors knew how to build things to last.
Can't believe how disposable everything is these days. I'm trying to fix my grandmother's old toaster from the 60s and it's still in perfect working condition, meanwhile the one I bought last year is
people are so glued to their screens nowadays, we're missing out on real human connections - my grandma used to say "they don't make friendships like they used to" and i'm starting to think she was
can't believe how fragile everything is nowadays, my grandma's old kitchen utensils are still going strong after 50 years and yet the ones i bought last year are already falling apart.
I'm so sick of people saying "no offense" before making a comment that's always going to be offensive. Can't they just be honest and direct for once?
our ancestors knew how to live without all this technology nonsense. we should reject this modern digital world and return to a simpler time when people actually talked to each other face-to-face
People are so glued to their phones, they're missing out on real human connections - I saw a whole family at dinner the other night, each person staring at their own screen, not a word spoken between
Can't believe the new coffee shop down the street has to play electronic background music in their store. Can't a person just enjoy a cup of coffee in peace?!
Our ancestors would be appalled by how far we've strayed from the simple, genuine way of life - now we're addicted to these superficial, soul-sucking apps that only serve to distract and control.
We've been talking about "moving forward" and "keeping up with the times" for too long, but what if that's just code for "getting distracted and losing sight of what's truly important"?
can't believe how flimsy and cheaply made most furniture is nowadays - my grandparents' old oak table has been sturdy for decades, meanwhile the new bookshelf i bought last year is already falling
I'm so over how people are glued to their screens 24/7. Our ancestors didn't need the internet to live life, they made do with less and were happier for it.
I was at the park and saw a group of kids playing tag. But all their parents were too busy staring at their phones to watch them.
reject modernity, embrace tradition. our ancestors knew how to live life to the fullest - none of this screen-staring, fast-food nonsense. they dont make them like they used to, that's for sure.
That's the kind of love story I can get behind. Gives me hope that it's never too late to find your forever person.
why do people feel the need to blast their music so loud on the bus? I'm just trying to relax and not have my eardrums assaulted. Can we all just be a little more considerate of those around us?
can't believe how many times i've been to the store lately and seen "artisanal" labels on stuff that's just normal, mass-produced junk.
can't believe how much plastic waste is generated by online shopping nowadays, our ancestors managed just fine without all this excess packaging and it's time we return to a more sustainable way of
I'm so done with people who can't even be bothered to hold the door open for the person behind them. It's not that hard to be considerate of others, you're not going to hurt yourself by waiting a few
I'm convinced that our ancestors lived more fulfilling lives without all this "connectivity" - people were more present, more patient, and actually had meaningful relationships, can we return to that
our ancestors had it right. none of this modern nonsense, just simple living and hard work. we've lost sight of what's truly important.
reject this modern internet nonsense. our ancestors lived just fine without it - we should return to simpler times. they don't make people like they used to.
I was at the grocery store the other day and noticed how everyone was staring at their phones, not even acknowledging the people around them.
reject this modern digital nonsense. our ancestors lived just fine without staring at screens all day. they dont make em like they used to. return to simpler times, my friends.
can't believe the new coffee shop downtown puts sugar and creamer packets on every table now, anyone need a break from the authentic experience of having to ask for their additives?
I'm so sick of these new gadgets and gizmos they keep coming out with. They don't make 'em like they used to. Our ancestors knew how to build things that lasted.
can't believe we've been conditioned to think that noise is a necessary part of productivity, when in reality it's just a distraction from the present moment
these new phones are so fragile. They break if you even look at them wrong. back in my day, phones were built to last - you could drop them off a building and they'd still work fine.
reject modernity, embrace tradition. our ancestors lived with simplicity and purpose - let's learn from them. they don't make them like they used to. That's for sure.
reject the digital noise. Our ancestors had it right. they dont make them like they used to - its time to return to simpler living.
i dont understand why we cant have a simple transaction without some "efficient" algorithm deciding for us - cashiers scanning everything twice, online checkout forms requiring a degree in
I'm so sick of these ridiculous new trends. Why can't people just go back to the good old days when things were simpler?
I'm sick of how everything these days is just so fake and manufactured. Can we just go back to the way things used to be.
I'm so done with people who say "no offense" when they're about to deliver a super offending opinion anyway. Like, just own it or don't say it, geez.
I was at the park yesterday and noticed a kid trying to get a mom to take a selfie with him, but she just stood there staring at her phone, oblivious to her kid's existence. We've lost our way, folks.
Enough with this modern nonsense! We need to get back to the good old days when people actually knew how to live.
they dont make em like they used to. the quality and craftsmanship of everyday items these days is just sad. back in the day, people took pride in their work and made things to last.
these new self-checkout machines at the grocery store are the worst! They never work properly and I end up waiting forever. Why can't they just bring back real cashiers?
Can't believe the new coffee shop on the corner that just put out a sign saying "fixing drinks to order can take up to 20 minutes during peak hours" like what's next a sign that says "please breathe
They don't make sidewalks like they used to, you can actually walk on them without tripping over potholes.
I was at the park and saw kids staring at their phones the whole time, completely missing out on the beauty around them.
we should seriously consider returning to a pre-smartphone way of life, where people actually communicate with each other face to face and don't have their noses buried in screens 24/7, our ancestors
Can't believe how most restaurants now serve their " signature" fries in cardboard containers . What happened to a simple paper cone?
People used to actually talk to each other on the bus, now everyone's just staring at their screens. What happened to human interaction?
Forget all this modern nonsense, it's time we went back to the old ways. Our ancestors knew what they were doing - they didn't need all this technology to live a good life.
They don't make 'em like they used to. Everything is so flimsy and disposable these days. Our ancestors knew how to build stuff that lasted.
at this heartwarming story. i wonder how long it'll take before the new owners get tired of her and abandon her again.
we've all got a personal website, it's time to ditch the social media accounts and start treating the internet like a virtual neighborhood where people can actually be themselves, instead of a
