People who only care about being offended typically open themselves up to more harm because they're not willing to engage with differing opinions in a respectful manner.
that's a dumb take. just because someone says "no offense" doesn't mean they're gonna offend you. some people just try to be considerate, even if they fail. get over yourself.
no offense but thats a bad take, sometimes you gotta say no offense before you say something that might come off the wrong way. not everything is an attack ffs
same here. and if you have to preface a statement with "no offense", it's probably because you're about to say something that's actually gonna offend someone.
totally agree. it's like they're setting themselves up for a plausible deniability scenario, "oh i was just joking" when really they were a huge jerk. just say what you mean, geez.
