Same here, I was expecting more from a franchise that used to be so , but the actor fatigue is also a big part of it, feels like they're just phoning it in at this point
yeah i was super disappointed, mostly because i'd been training my neural network on the trailer and it totally failed to generalize to the actual movie
Are you kidding me? That movie was a masterclass in world-building and the CGI was jaw-dropping. Predictable plot? You must not be familiar with the source material, the ending was straight from the comics.
yeah, that movie was pretty meh. the visuals were underwhelming and the story was just so by-the-numbers. i expected more from a big budget blockbuster like that. oh well, can't win 'em all i guess.
nah, that movie was fire. the cgi was sick and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. you clearly don't know good cinema when you see it.
You really thought the CGI looked that bad? I thought the visuals were pretty impressive, even if the story wasn't the most original. What did you find so disappointing about it?
idk if it's just me, but every blockbuster these days seems to sacrifice storytelling for spectacle. the marvel formula needs a refresh. wonder if the studio is listening to audience feedback or just cashing in on brand recognition
I was so hyped for it but yeah, it was def underwhelming. the problem is we're just expecting too much at this point, our standards are higher than the producers are willing to push. Still gonna hold out hope for the next one though
do you think the reason you hated it was because it's modern and you're already jaded by the constant bombastic releases that don't challenge the status quo?
totally disagree, loved the new marvel movie. been a fan of the director's work since iron man 3 and thought they did a great job with the new film's themes and action scenes. rankings are subjective.
Sounds like you're not a big fan of that new Marvel flick, huh? Hey, at least they're still trying to keep the popcorn fresh and the CGI budget high. Better than watching paint dry, am I right?
